How To Make A Woo Woo


Fun, fruity and full of flavour, the Woo Woo is a wonderful cocktail for nights out on the town.

Ingredients:

Vodka (1 shot)
Peach Schnapps (1 shot)
Cranberry Juice (2 shots)
Ice Cubes

How to make it:

Put the ice cubes into a highball glass.  Add in the vodka and peach schnapps and top up with the cranberry juice.  Give it a stir and you're done!   

How To Make A White Russian


Sweet and creamy, the White Russian is 'more-ish' and well deserves a place on any cocktail menu!

Ingredients:

Vodka (2 shots)
Coffee Liqueur (1 shot)
Milk or Cream (1 1/2 shot)
Ice Cubes

How to make it:

Pour the vodka and coffee liqueur into a glass with ice cubes.  On top, gently add the milk or cream and stir.
  

How To Make A Whiskey Sour


A proper cocktail for 'grown ups', the Whiskey Sour is strong, delicious and very sophisticated.

Ingredients:

Bourbon Whiskey (2 shots)
Lemon Juice (1 shot)
Sugar Syrup
Ice Cubes

How to make it:

Put all the ingredients into a cocktail shaker and shake very well.  Strain into a glass with more ice cubes and garnish with a slice of orange and a maraschino cherry.

How To Make A Tom Collins


The Tom Collins is a refreshing cocktail that can be drunk at any time of year.  It looks great and tastes amazing too.

Ingredients:

Gin (1 shot)
Lemon Juice (4 shots)
Sugar Syrup
Sparkling Water
Ice Cubes

How to make it:

Put the gin, lemon juice and sugar syrup into a glass with the ice cubes.  Top up with the sparkling water and stir.  Garnish with a lemon slice.
 

How To Make A Tequila Sunrise


The name alone creates images of holidays and good times, but the Tequila Sunrise is one cocktail straight out of the top drawer!

Ingredients:

Tequila (2 shots)
Orange Juice (5 shots)
Grenadine (1/2 shot)
Ice Cubes

How to make it:

Put the ice cubes in a glass, pour in the tequila and orange juice.  Add the grenadine last but do not stir.  A garnish of orange peel is nice.

How To Make A Squashed Frog


Colourful and incredibly tasty, the Squashed Frog might be a strangely named cocktail, but it always goes down well!

Ingredients:

Advocaat (1 part)
Midori Melon Liqueur (1 part)
Grenadine (1 part)

How to make it:

Pour the grenadine into a shot glass, followed by the advocaat and then the melon liqueur.  The idea is to create 3 layers, with the bottom one resembling 'blood'. 

How To Make A Slippery Nipple


The Slippery Nipple proves that good things come in small sizes.  Despite only having 2 ingredients, it's tasty and a genuinely fun cocktail to drink.

Ingredients:

Sambuca (1 shot)
Irish Cream Liqueur (1 shot)

How to make it:

Into a double shot glass, pour the sambuca and then layer the irish cream liqueur on top.  Bottoms up!
 

How To Make A Sea Breeze


A cocktail that's nicely fruity with a bit of a kick, sipping on a Sea Breeze always makes you feel happy.  Ideal for holidays in the sun, but just as good at home!

Ingredients:

Vodka (2 shots)
Cranberry Juice (4 shots)
Grapefruit Juice (1 shot)
Ice Cubes

How to make it:

Fill a highball glass with ice and add all the ingredients.  Stir and then drink.  A slice of lime is a nice garnish.

How To Make A Purple Rain


A deep and unmistakable colour gives the Purple Rain it's name. A nicely flavoured cocktail, it's always a good choice.

Ingredients:

Vodka (1 shot)
Blue Curaco (1 shot)
Lemonade (4 shots or 100ml)
Grenadine (1/5 shot)
Juice from 1 Lime
Ice Cubes

How to make it:

To a glass filled with ice cubes, add the vodka, blue curaco and lemonade, then stir gently.  Top with the grenadine before serving.  Watch the colours combine and then drink!

How To Make A Mint Julep


The Mint Julep is a great cocktail that hails from southern USA, and has plenty of charm as well as flavour!

Ingredients:

Bourbon Whiskey (3 shots)
Mint Leaves
Sugar Syrup (1 teaspoon)
Ice Cubes

How to make it:

Pre chill a glass.  Add the mint leaves, a bit of the bourbon and the sugar syrup, and mash together.  Leave to stand for a few minutes to release flavours.  Strain into a new glass, filled with ice cubes, and add the rest of the bourbon.  Decorate with additional mint leaves.
